Babcock Ranch residents enjoy community amenities and welcoming gathering spots that nod to Babcock Ranch’s rich history and embrace modern, environmentally friendly building and landscaping features.
Directly on Lake Babcock, just northeast of Founder’s Square, Cypress Lodge is a new lakeside clubhouse and activities center that pays homage to the original Cypress Lodge that served as Fred C. Babcock’s home on Babcock Ranch Preserve.
Boasting more than 17,000 square feet, Cypress Lodge offers an outdoor clubroom, four cabanas with fireplaces and grills, along with a 2,000-square-foot-swimming pool, outdoor seating areas with fire pits, and a game lawn.
An iconic 150-foot-long boardwalk with seating areas and an observation deck featuring a tower named Lake Babcock Lookout by the students of Babcock Neighborhood School will be accessible from Cypress Lodge and the waterfront walkway that originates at Founder’s Square.
Within the Lake Timber neighborhood, the 2,400-square-foot Lakehouse features a rustic design, with a two-sided stone fireplace that rises from the floor to its soaring 25-foot ceilings accented with beautiful wooden beams. Within the game room residents can use billiard table, two 55-inch flatscreen televisions and a convenient kitchenette.
Outside, residents have access to a 2,200-square-foot, zero-entry pool, along with a bathhouse. A lawn with shade trees meanders down to a 2,000-square-foot deck overlooking Lake Timber. A playground, Adirondack chairs and chaise lounges, and tables with umbrellas make The Lakehouse the ideal place to kick back and relax while enjoying the great outdoors.
