Babcock Ranch is booming and trees are being cleared in West Port (formerly Murdock Village) for additional single- and multi-family development. Clearly there’s ‘something for everyone’ in terms of housing and lifestyle in Charlotte County,” Julie Mathis, executive director of the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce is quoted in the article.
