The Great Outdoors

The Great Outdoors at Babcock Ranch

Babcock Ranch is a sustainable town in the making and we’re open to anyone to come explore. Rent a kayak or canoe from Curry Creek Outfitters or take a stroll on the boardwalk in front of Table & Tap. Cast a line from our fishing dock by Lake Babcock or take a hike (or bike!) on our 5 miles of nature trails (our trail system will eventually reach 50 miles). Our natural amenities make Babcock Ranch a wonderful place for everyone to enjoy.

Curry Creek Outfitters

Curry Creek Outfitters is the perfect place for you to kick off an exploration of Babcock Ranch. Visit our outfitters store to find gear such as sunscreen, outerwear, fishing gear, and more. Curry Creek Outfitters also offers kayak and canoe rentals to take out onto our lake and bicycles to explore the town.

Hiking Trails

Once you’re ready to step away from the hustle and bustle of Founder’s Square, feel free to enjoy the many trails we have to offer. We have diverse trail types that are suitable for people of all ages and activity levels that are also bike-friendly. It’s the start of a trail network extending over 50 miles once completed.

Get your exercise in while experiencing the best in Florida outdoors! Rent a bike to ride around any one of our neighborhoods, Founder’s Square, or on our Dick Cuda Trail, the first few miles of our trail system.

Dog Park

Need a place to enjoy outdoor time with your favorite pup? Stop by one of our dog parks where you can mingle with other dog-lovers while your furry friend gets their daily exercise.

Kid’s Playground

We think technology is the way of the future, but we also believe that play is incredibly important to a child’s social and physical development. Each Babcock Ranch neighborhood will have a good, old-fashioned place just for kids (or for the kids at heart) to play and enjoy the fresh air and sunshine.

Community Garden in Lake Timber Neighborhood

Farm-to-table is not just a trend for us – it’s a lifestyle.
Community gardens within our neighborhoods will provide space for residents to grow their own veggies, herbs and more. Our restaurant is modeled after farm-to-table dining and we want our residents to be able to have their own farm-to-table experience, too.
