Lennar’s Majestica model home now open at Babcock Ranch

Babcock Ranch, Southwest Florida’s unique eco-centric, solar-powered town just northeast of Fort Myers on Babcock Ranch Road/State Road 31, has announced the single-family Majestica model by Lennar is now open for tours.

The Wi-Fi Certified™ Majestica model is located in Trail’s Edge, a new neighborhood by Lennar situated within walking distance of all the amenities and activities at Babcock Ranch’s downtown center, Founder’s Square.

With activation and support by Amazon, the Majestica model illustrates the built-in connection to technology brand devices – such as Amazon’s Echo Dot, Kwikset® Kevo™ Smart Locks, Honeywell Lyric Round™ Wi-Fi thermostats and Ring® Video Doorbells – that are part of Lennar’s signature Everything’s Included program in their Babcock Ranch homes.

With plenty of room for the whole family, the Majestica boasts 3,283 square feet of living space within two floors, along with five bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths and a loft.

Janet Graham of Baer’s Furniture incorporated a coastal ranch theme throughout the home, with a soothing palette of white, light sand and indigo blue, and touches of shiplap and decorative trim. Driftwood finishes coupled with painted white furniture add a hint of cottage contemporary to the design, and oversized grey marbled diagonally set tile, natural rugs and accents, and elegant oil-rubbed bronze lighting fixtures unify living spaces. Graham designed the Majestica keeping in mind active, larger families with a casual, stylish lifestyle.

With soaring 30-foot ceilings in the great room, the Majestica offers an open and gracious feel. Its custom built-in 72” electric linear fireplace beneath a large television will inspire family movie nights. Nearby, the gourmet-ready kitchen is outfitted with white shaker-style cabinets topped with grey and beige-tone granite and stainless appliances.

In addition to the cozy breakfast nook, a granite-topped island offers additional casual seating. The dining room is designed to impress, with a feature wall of mirror and trim work and a painted suspended beam ceiling, while the living room offers additional space for gathering.

In the model, the first-floor bedroom is envisioned as a home office; with a private bath, it easily doubles as a guest room. Upstairs, the master suite offers two walk-in closets and a retreat-worthy bath with a freestanding roman tub, walk-in shower, private water closet, and dual sinks. Three additional bedrooms and two baths share access to a spacious loft that’s ideal for a playroom or media center.

A large, extended lanai expands the great room and adds space for alfresco dining and relaxing, with an outdoor kitchen and seating overlooking the pool, spa and lake.

Like all other homes in this “smart city,” the Majestica offers fiber internet direct to the home, allowing for the fastest gigabit speeds available to supply powerful internet for today’s online lifestyle.

With a three-car garage with ample storage space, the Majestica is base priced at $329,999.

Babcock Ranch was created by Kitson & Partners with respect for the natural environment and the philosophy that smart growth and sustainability work hand in hand. Half of the town’s 18,000-acre footprint is set aside as greenways, parks and expansive lakes, providing recreation and scenic backdrops for Babcock Ranch’s homes and the Founder’s Square downtown district.

Emphasizing a front-porch lifestyle to nurture a sense of community, Babcock Ranch promotes healthy living through a walkable community plan, 50 miles of planned biking and hiking trails, interconnected lakes for paddling enthusiasts, a robust calendar of exercise classes, and the Healthy Life Center managed by Lee Health at Founder’s Square, with health club facilities, nutrition counseling, therapeutic services, and medical offices opening in late summer.

Table & Tap restaurant, Slater’s Goods and Provisions, Square Scoops Coffee & Creamery, Curry Creek Outfitters, and Babcock Neighborhood School welcomed the greater community to Founder’s Square even before the arrival of the town’s first residents in early January. A sprawling downtown park offers a lakefront bandshell, boardwalk, covered pavilions and charging stations for electronics, including cars. An autonomous shuttle – part of the town’s mobility plan – provides transportation between homes and Founder’s Square. And with plans to expand into On Demand services, goods delivery, and hourly/daily car rentals within the next year, Babcock Ranch will continue offering compelling mobility solutions that reduce the need for car ownership in the new town.

Babcock Ranch has seven homebuilders offering more than 50 home designs including twin villas, cottages, single-family executive, manor and custom homes featuring one- and two-story plans, two to six bedrooms, and 1,400 to 4,761 square feet of living space. Homes appeal to young millennials, families, empty nesters and retirees alike, with prices ranging from the $190,000s to $1 million. Homes are built to Florida Green Building Coalition standards, emphasizing energy and water conservation, and offer a full gigabyte of fiber-optic connectivity.

More than 30 model and quick-delivery homes are now open or under construction by Florida Lifestyle Homes, Fox Premier Builders, Lennar, Pulte Homes, Solara Homes by Banroc, and Stock Classic Homes. Many models are open for viewing daily.
