When developer Kitson & Partners began planning for the new town of Babcock Ranch, it sought builders who would adhere to the concepts of green building and sustainability.

As a result of Kitson’s conservation efforts, the Florida Green Building Coalition has certified the entire town of Babcock Ranch as “green.” The nonprofit organization demands builders and developers adhere to strict standards of environmental sustainability.
