ABOUT THE BABCOCK NEIGHBORHOOD SCHOOL

Our mission is to offer a “place-based” environmentally focused “greenSTEAM” education program that integrates science, technology, engineering, the arts and mathematics within a thoughtfully provided holistic learning environment. STEAM requires intentional connections among and between standards, assessments, and lesson design while integrating related standards across disciplines – allowing students to demonstrate mastery of subjects.

Your donation will directly benefit the students of BNS by providing innovative technologies and tutoring support.

By focusing on local landscape, history, culture, and context, learning at BNS takes on specificity and moves from the abstract to the concrete, engaging students with an environment that encourages interactions with, and exploration of, the world around them.
The sustainability and conservation principles of Babcock Ranch provide opportunities for hands-on, project-based learning about nature, health and renewable energy with a STEAM focus.

ABOUT THE BABCOCK RANCH FOUNDATION

Our mission is to support, enhance and implement projects that positively impact at-risk children in our area.

Your donation will help support the Foundation’s focus on issues such as hunger, homelessness and education, specifically here in SW Florida.

Through the creation of the Babcock Ranch Foundation, Kitson & Partners has taken the next step in their dedication to give back to the local community, especially to the region’s children. Donor support is helping fund the Foundation’s projects that focus on issues such as hunger, homelessness, and at-risk children, specifically in SW Florida. Since the Foundation’s inception, it has helped fund projects for local non-profit partners including the Children’s Advocacy Center of Southwest Florida, Babcock Neighborhood School’s Holiday Feeding for Families Program, AMIkids Southwest Florida, and WGCU (a member-supported service of Florida Gulf Coast University) to fund PBS Kids Workshops at childcare facilities to support the read-at-home program for at risk/low income/ early learning.

The Babcock Ranch Foundation, established in 2016, is proud of achievements. Supporting, enhancing and implementing projects that positively impact at-risk children, is a mission Kitson & Partners is dedicated to building upon. The community engagement they receive from their SW FL business partners, Babcock Ranch retail locations, employees, residents and visitors has been in a class of its own.

ABOUT THE ROUND UP FOR CLEAN WATERS INITIATIVE

Our mission is to tackle water poverty in one of the world’s most forgotten countries. Our goal? Clean, lasting water for every man, woman, and child in the Central African Republic.

Every year over 2 million people die from waterborne diseases in the world and 90% of these deaths are among children in countries like the CAR. Water for Good, established in 2004, is the largest water organization in the CAR and provides reliable access to
clean water for over half a million people every day.

The impact of this donation should not be underestimated. Every $5 donated provides a year of clean water for a person in the Central African Republic.
